Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to questions clients frequently ask us

Yes, the initial meeting is free with no obligation. During the meeting, we'll examine the case, explain your rights, and assess the chances of success. Only if you decide to proceed will we sign a representation agreement.
The duration varies depending on the type and complexity of the case. Simple cases can be resolved within a few months, while more complex cases may take one to two years. We do everything possible to expedite the process and achieve quick results.
We work on a percentage basis of the compensation we achieve for you (No Win - No Fee). This means you pay nothing if we don't win the case. Our fee is contingent on success, so we're motivated to achieve the best result for you.
Eligibility for compensation depends on the specific circumstances of each case. Generally, if you've suffered harm as a result of negligence, an accident, or an injury for which you're not responsible, you may be eligible for compensation. During the initial consultation, we can provide a more accurate assessment.
A settlement is an agreement between the parties to resolve the case outside of court, usually faster and saving time and costs. A court judgment is a decision by the court after hearing the evidence. In many cases, we recommend a settlement if the terms are fair, but we're ready to go all the way to trial if necessary.
There are different limitation periods for different types of claims. Generally, there are 7 years to file a lawsuit, but in certain cases (such as minors or medical malpractice) the periods are different. It's important to seek consultation as soon as possible to avoid missing legal deadlines.
If the case is unsuccessful, you don't pay us attorney fees (No Win - No Fee). However, there may be certain court costs that need to be paid. During the consultation, we'll explain all financial aspects in detail and assess the risks.
The initial meeting is preferably held face-to-face, but we also offer video or phone meetings for your convenience. During case handling, most communication can be done remotely, and we'll call you to the office only when truly necessary.

Additional Information Worth Knowing

Limitation Periods

In medical malpractice and accident lawsuits, it's important to act quickly. There are important legal deadlines to be aware of:

  • Road accidents: 7 years from the date of the accident
  • Medical malpractice: 7 years from discovering the damage (not from the date of the event)
  • Minors: until 7 years after age 18
  • Work accidents: immediate notification to the National Insurance Institute

Documents Worth Preparing

Preparing the following documents will help speed up the case examination process:

  • Complete medical record (if relevant)
  • Police reports (in case of accident)
  • Photos from the event/injury
  • Names and details of witnesses
  • Correspondence with insurance company (if any)

Important to Remember

Don't sign any document from the insurance company or any other party without consulting a lawyer.
Signing a settlement agreement or waiving rights may prevent you from claiming in the future.
