Achievements and Successes

Liatt has acquired special expertise in identifying strengths and weaknesses in medical malpractice cases. Thanks to her wisdom and professionalism, she has developed a professional network with expert physicians in many medical fields, which enables her to determine whether there is grounds for a medical malpractice claim in a given case and what its chances of success are.

Together with Attorney Ron, she was a partner in the successful case of Y.Z vs. Hadassah, in which a sum of approximately 5 million NIS was awarded (in 2019) to a woman who became disabled due to negligence in the diagnosis and treatment of encephalitis from which she suffered.

Together with Attorney Festinger, she was a partner in the successful precedent-setting verdict in Appeal 1358-12, Rabin Medical Center - Beilinson Hospital vs. Estate of the Late Shlomo Eisenbach, an important precedent in medical malpractice in which the Supreme Court ruled that it is possible, in exceptional circumstances, to exempt a plaintiff from the obligation to attach a medical opinion already at the stage of filing the claim. The verdict created a significant precedent that made it easier for victims in cases where it is difficult or impossible to obtain a medical opinion at the beginning of the proceedings, and strengthened the accessibility of victims to the justice system.
